about

Bouncy dancefloor number with an 80’s esc vocal hook, beautiful, simplistic, and super catchy to boot.

Feargal Clarke is a Belfast based musician, producer and DJ, who has been creating music from Kraut inspired Psych/Garage Rock to House and Techno for the last 18 years.

First mesmerised by the early Rave/Acid House/Techno tapes as a 10 year old boy, he has been mixing everything from Disco to House, Electronica and Breaks to Electro and Techno for 29 years.

His latest incarnation 'Klark Bent' shows a return to his first love, Electronic music, with a string of live hardware sets and DJ sets incorporating House, Breaks, Electro and Techno.

Bringing the remixes to complete the package Dollops and Simon Sheldon.

Dollops is a new solo project from Belfast musician Danny Todd, founding member of Cashier No. 9 (another project that began as a solo outing before growing into a full, Bella Union signed, band) and Exmagician (alongside long-time musical partner James Smith).

With Dollops, Danny's sole intention is to not get in his own way. To embrace the purity of the idea, to give himself over to the process and follow it where it leads.

Simon Sheldon’s remix brings a dancefloor plodder while Muzka brings a melodic tearjerker to complete the EP.

Muzka has been DJing since the late 90s, spinning in clubs around Belfast and across the country. He prides himself on not being pigeonholed to one genre which can be heard in his productions, taking their influence from hip hop, electro, dub, house, disco, techno and everything in between. Muzka has released under a number of monikers such as Muska, Sir Plus and as himself on Cut La Rocs ‘Roctstar Records’. These days you can catch him DJing at Ulster Sports Club, Belfast, making beats for local MCs and producing beautiful leftfield electronica.

Simon Sheldon, captain of the Freebooter label, prolific producer and releases and plays live under various pseudonyms.

Artwork by Freebooter resident the wonderful Keith Connolly.
