Muzka has been DJing since the late 90s, spinning in clubs around Belfast and across the country. He prides himself on not being pigeonholed to one genre which can be heard in his productions, taking their influence from hip hop, electro, dub, house, disco, techno and everything in between. Muzka has released under a number of monikers such as Mu$kat, Sir Plus and as himself on Cut La Rocs ‘Roctstar Records’. These days you can catch him DJing at Ulster Sports Club, Belfast, making beats for local MCs and producing beautiful leftfield electronica.
Like Muzka, Ramie Burns is part of the integral artist roster within The Freebooter Lounge family and Ramie’s last ‘Remix’ EP ‘Turn Me On’ received huge plaudits, plays and praise from the likes of ALFOS mainman Sean Johnston, Francois K to Café Del Mar legend Ken Fan amongst many others. Keeping the bar high Ramie brings his studio wizardry with yet another brilliant remix (or two).
Ramie Burns has been producing and spinning a wide variety of musical genres since the early 90’s, from Techno to Dub. His first remix came about in 1997 with a remix of Dave the Drummers Speed Freak on the Liberators Stay up Forever label. In 1998 Ramie relocated to New York City and started Sifted recordings with DJ partner DJ Ebar. Ramie went on to open a club on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, 200 Orchard that specializes in all things electronic and eclectic. 2009 seen Ramie releasing remixes for Das Shadows on Sony, Quarterlife Records, Nosi Music and Doebler & Berg out of Berlin. Ramie has DJ'ed extensively In Germany, France, Belgium, England, Ireland, Scotland, the US. and the main dance tent in Glastonbury with gigs in Berlin and New York. continues to excite with his own brand of electronica.
Ed Mahon is a DJ and producer from the North of England with a strong house music background stretching back to the early 90s. Equally at home playing acid house chuggers, straight up house, Balearic beats and all sorts in between, he is a Festival regular, DJing all over the world, and an in-demand guest mixer.
Production-wise his recordings and remixes have seen releases on labels such as Tici Taci, Paper, Sprechen, Nein, Hot Digits, Emerald & Doreen, Higher Love, Eclectics, Quixotical, Red Ant and more.
Ed is also co-founder of Cowbell Radio, an acclaimed underground radio station since 2011 and is a key part of the Alfresco Festival. He hosts radio shows on Cowbell and Music For Dreams and has provided guest mixes for many shows and stations.
His DJ work has taken him from South Africa to Marseille to Croatia with multiple guest sets in Ibiza and Tenerife, as well as dozens of UK festivals, club nights and residencies.
Spanna, no stranger to The Freebooter Lounge, Spanna has released a number of EP’s and his notorious ‘Reverberator’ LP, this time he’s on remix duties. Forged from the after burners of Cowboy Flying Saucer bass playing. Spanna has been picking up space debris and constructing a space transmitter. This machine squeezes out beats, bleeps and techno voodoo.
Feargal Clarke aka 'Klark Bent' is a Belfast based musician, producer and DJ, who has been creating music from Kraut inspired Psych/Garage Rock to House and Techno for the last 18 years.
First mesmerised by the early Rave/Acid House/Techno tapes as a 10 year old boy, he has been mixing everything from Disco to House, Electronica and Breaks to Electro and Techno for 29 years.
His latest incarnation, 'Klark Bent' shows a return to his first love, Electronic music, with a string of live hardware sets and DJ sets incorporating House, Breaks, Electro and Techno.
Working alongside KB on this remix, Belfast based DJ & producer and Member of the Manhattan Project CR Thomas.
A DJ for 20 years + and now a regular DJ @ the notorious Plan B night in Belfast Tommy McKenna aka CR Thomas has more recently delved into hardware, drum machines and crafting his production techniques.
